DANANG INTERNATIONAL MARATHON 2027
The international marathon race in Da Nang city, where every stride is powered by something greater. Dawn breaks over the horizon as a salt-kissed ocean breeze sweeps across the course – a backdrop that stays with you long after you cross the finish line. The roar of the local crowd will push you further than you thought possible, and leave you wanting to come back for more. March is the perfect time to explore landmarks such as Linh Ung Pagoda, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, the Marble Mountains, and the vibrant dining and nightlife scene in Vietnam’s most beautiful coastal city.

WEATHER FORECAST
March is the finest time of year to be in Da Nang city. The course won’t be punishing – conditions are comfortable for race day, with cool, refreshing evenings that keep the air crisp and clean.
RACE SCHEDULE
To be well prepared for race day, participants should:
- Read the full Race Rules and Regulations. HERE;
- Review the Race Kit collection guide in detail;
- Familiarise yourself with the race schedule and start location, and arrive before your distance’s gun time;
- Fill in your emergency contact details on the back of your race BIB. Make sure your family or next of kin know you are racing, and that your emergency contact will have their phone on and available on race day;
- If you require medical assistance, contact the emergency number printed on your race BIB or make your way to the nearest Medical Station on course or within the event area;
- Do not race using another participant’s race BIB – this is for your own safety and protection during the event;
- Dispose of waste at designated points and help keep the course and event area clean throughout the day.

RACE KIT COLLECTION
The standard race kit includes 01 race singlet, 01 tote bag, 01 race BIB, and sponsor products (if any).
Some sponsor items will be available through mini games and activities at partner booths. Check the full list of partners attending the EXPO DAY.
Race kit collection details will be sent via email within 7 (seven) days before race day. The email will include your personal information and a QR code for collecting your race kit at the Race Kit Pick-up Area – East Sea Park. (Please check both your inbox and spam/junk folder.)
RACE BIB – IMPORTANT NOTES:
You will not be permitted to race without your race BIB. A timing chip is attached to the back of your race BIB – keep it intact to ensure your result is accurately recorded. Please also complete your medical information on the back of the BIB before race day so the Organizer can assist you in the event of an emergency.
RACE PHOTOS
Photos will be delivered via email after the race. The Organizer will announce availability on the official event fanpage.
Photos from the race are available for purchase both before and after the event, at the following prices per distance:
- Marathon – 42.195km: 159,000 VND
- Half Marathon – 21km: 139,000 VND
- 10km: 119,000 VND
Our photographers will do their best to capture memorable moments throughout the course. However, due to the large number of participants, some moments may be missed. We appreciate your understanding if your photos are incomplete or unavailable in certain course sections.
BAG DROP AREA
The Organizer will provide a bag drop service for participants. However, participants are advised not to bring personal belongings — especially valuables – to the event to avoid loss or damage.

BAG DROP TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- The Organizer reserves the right to stop accepting bags once capacity is reached.
- The following items are not recommended for bag drop: fragile, perishable, or colour-sensitive items, valuable documents, electronic devices, cash, and similar items.
- The Organizer reserves the right to inspect bags upon request from authorities or security personnel.
- The Organizer is not liable for any loss or damage incurred at the bag drop counter.

Note:
- Participants will not be permitted to continue past the Cut-Off time at each designated point under any circumstances. This ensures roads can be reopened to local traffic as required, and that security personnel, staff, and volunteers are not left working extended hours in hot weather conditions. Aid stations (water and medical) will also be closed once roads reopen.
- The event will cause temporary disruption to local traffic. The Organizer asks for the understanding of both residents and participants for any inconvenience this may cause.

AID STATIONS
- Aid stations are located approximately every 2km and offer water, electrolyte drinks, fruit, and medical support. Available items vary by station; please refer to the course map for full details.
- Water at aid stations is served in paper cups. Please dispose of cups in the bins provided after use.
- Refill stations with large water containers are available for participants carrying hydration vests or soft flasks.
DID NOT FINISH - DNF
If you are unable to complete the course and wish to withdraw, please make your way to the nearest Aid Station on course. The Organizer will have buses available to transport DNF participants back to the event area.

EXPECTED WEATHER
In March, this is the most beautiful weather of the year in the coastal city of Da Nang. The track will not be too hot, the weather is pleasant for participants, and the atmosphere is fresher and cooler at night. March is still not the peak tourist season in Da Nang, so come here before and after the race to swim, snorkel, or visit Ba Na Hill… completely.
COLLECTING YOUR RACE KIT

The registration info and BIB number will be sent to runner’s email 10 days before the race day. This will include your unique QR code that you’ll need to collect your race kit at the Bien Dong Park. Please check your inbox and also your spam box.
*ABOUT YOUR BIB NUMBER
Please look after your BIB number – you won’t be able to take part in the race without it.
On the back of your BIB number also contains your unique timing chip so please also keep it safe and make sure you fill in your medical information before the race date – this could save your life in an emergency.
RACE PHOTOS
Your race photos will be sent to your registered email within 5 hours after the race officially ends. These race photos will be available for purchase. Our photographers will do their best to capture your best moments during the race, but some moments may be missed. We sincerely apologize in advance if you are unable to find your photos or if images from certain areas are missing.

BAG DROP SERVICE
The bag drop service will be open at the event site for all runners. We encourage you not to bring your personal belongings while participating to minimize the loss or damage, etc., and better not to take with you any bulky or valuable things…

In order to be well-prepared for the race day, runners should:
– Read the Rules and Regulations HERE.
– Read the Race kit pick-up guideline entirely.
– Familiar yourself with the race and start schedules to make sure you arrive on time.
– Ensure that your nominated Emergency Contact is available on the back of your BIB and inform your family members and emergency contact person to keep an eye on their phone.
– Contact the emergency number that is available on your BIB or find the nearest medical station at the event site and along the race route if you need medical service.
– Don’t use BIB from anyone else to run to ensure your benefits during the race.
– Put trash in its designated places to keep the public area clean.

- Runners who cannot pass the cut-off points before the cut-off time will not be able to continue the race at no exception. As the route needs to be open again for locals and the health/safety of staff/volunteers needs to be ensured at the same time.

STATIONS
- There are stations at every 2 kilometers with water, electrolyte drinks, fruits and aid supplies. The supplies are different at each station. More details in the course map.
- Water at stations is supplied in paper cups, please put them into the bin after use.
- At stations, there are big water bottles which you can use to refill your own bottle.
DROP OUT
If a runner is unable to complete the course and wishes to stop, please proceed to the nearest Support Station along the route. The Organizing Committee will arrange shuttle buses to transport DNF (Do Not Finish) runners back to the event area.
*Note: Shuttle buses will only be available to pick up runners after 7:30 AM.
